TCUM was founded in 1993 by Government’s decision. It’s an accredited higher education and scientific research institution, which unfolds the process of continuous professional formation on the basis of principles under the Declaration of Bologna process, according to ECTS. TCUM was the first higher education institution who implemented the Quality Management System, on the basis of ISO 9001:2008. TCUM is a leader in the economic education in the Rep. of Moldova, being in continuous modernization of its activities. TCUM brings together 3 faculties and 15 departments and offers training in 16 programs of professional formation at the Bachelor (License) level, in 22 Master programs and 7 Doctoral programs. The training process is provided by 87 teachers, including 5 professors, 45 doctors and 33 associate professors. TCUM is the partner of more than 30 prestigious higher education institutions, organizations and enterprises from the country and abroad.

Role in the project.

TCUM will take part in the next activities of the project:

- analysis of the existing University Management systems and special needs of the university information management.

- establishment of the Coordination Council (WP1, WP9).

- organization of the Conference dedicated to discussion and approval of the concept of university information management.

- selection staff for training on university management in EU.

- organization of the intensive language courses for the selected staff.

- organization of a seminar-presentation for knowledge exchange (WP2).

- development and publication of the Report on ways towards for organization of the IT-centers, provision of the ITcenters with the necessary equipment (WP4) .

- development of a distributed university management information system (WP5).

- information campaign in mass-media (WP6)

- coordination meetings (WP9)
